Seastreak is a modern high-speed ferry that travels between East 35th St. and from Wall St. to Sandy Hook in about 35 minutes.

There are three Seastreak departures each weekend day, between 8AM and 1:20PM. Ferries return to Manhattan between 3:45PM and 7:45PM.
Fares are $26 each way, or $45 round-trip, and children 12 and $10. You can take your bike for $10.
There’s a seven-mile bike path which includes historic Fort Hancock, and bike rentals are available, too.
The Seastreak fare includes shuttle buses to and from the Sandy Hook beaches, which have lifeguards.
North Beach is the most popular, for its picture postcard view of the Lower Manhattan skyline.
Beach E is great for families because it has restrooms and restaurants.
Gunnison Beach is clothing optional.
Sandy Hook is part of the Gateway National RecreationArea and there are Park Rangers on duty. The National Park Service celebrates its 100th birthday this year.
