Viva la France! French Restaurant Week returns for its seventh edition July 4-17, with $17.89 meals at top French restaurants in NYC. The $17.89 meal deal honors the date of the French Revolution, which began on July 14, 1789, known ever since as Bastille Day.
More than two dozen top French restaurants are participating, including the fabled Le Cirque and Le Perigord. Some restaurants are charging $35.78 at dinner, still a good deal, and some are offering French Restaurant Week deals only at lunch.
While nearly all participating restaurants are in Manhattan, there also are choices in Brooklyn and Queens.
