There’s still time to enjoy a polar experience in Central Park before the train leaves the station for the winter season. The Polar Express 4-D Experience takes you to the North Pole via an extraordinary train ride filled with awe and wonder.
The Polar Express™ 4-D Experience is playing through January 31st at the Central Park Zoo, which is open every day of the year. It’s one of the last of the annual NYC holiday events still remaining. Get tickets now for the upcoming MLK holiday weekend before they sell out, or for remaining shows through the end of the month.
The story, of course, follows a doubting young boy on an epic journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
It’s based on the film from Warner Bros. Pictures and Shangri-La Entertainment and inspired by the beloved Caldecott Medal children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. It combines the visual drama of a 3-D film with 4-D sensory effects built into the seats and theater environment, such as wind and fog, bringing the on-screen images to life.
