There’s plenty to do in NYC free and cheap on weekends, including on this late January weekend. Unfortunately, free and cheap events are being cancelled because of the snowstorm, including both the annual Winter Jam festival in Central Park and a Native American dance and drumming performance.
Because of the weather, before you go, check to be sure the museum, gallery, exhibit, flea market or whatever is open.
Unlike other “what to do in NYC on the weekend” lists, only NYC on the Cheap gives you only FREE and cheap ($20 or less), unless you buy things. Unless a price is noted, what we are telling you about is FREE.
Let’s hope the weather cooperates with the outdoor events.
