Hunter Mountain opens tomorrow for the 2015/2016 ski and snowboard season with reduced rate tickets for the weekend. Lift ticket rates for Friday, December 11, 2015 are $44, and $54 for Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and 13th.
There are two other Hunter Mt. lift ticket deals that will save you money all season:
Big Lift Super Saver discount saves 50% off Friday’s ticket and 25% off Saturday and Sunday’s tickets. Purchase tickets online or at a ticket window on site.
And you can save money with the 3X Card. Ski or ride three times during the season for just $139. That’s $43 a day, which is up to 42% off daily lift ticket prices, and there are no blackout dates, so you can use it on holidays. The 3X Card is available for purchase only until Dec. 24th. Hunter Mt. knows more about snowmaking than any resort on the planet – snowmaking was pretty much invented here – and the resort invested more than $1 million over the summer to make it even better when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate.
This weekend, the Kaatskill Flyer, NYS’s only six-passenger high-speed chairlift, will service the main line which includes Hell Gate, 7th Ave, Kennedy, and Fifth Ave. This terrain is for accomplished intermediate and advanced abilities only. Beginners can use the Belt Parkway, The coveted First Chair of the season will go up at 9am Friday morning.
I’m a skier, and have done more laps at Hunter Mt. over more years than I can count.
