The contest is an expansion of Hennessy’s VSOP Privilège Awards, which recognizes accomplished individuals. Past honorees include Spike Lee and Daymond John.
Beginning Oct. 15, emerging businesses can apply for the Hennessy VSOP Privilège Lab to win free, shared co-working office space one of about 20 NYC buildings operated by five-year-old WeWork,
Applications must include a written portion as well as a short video, and will be accepted through Nov. 19. The office space provided by WeWork, which will be in a building with similar-minded tenants, can house companies with as many as six employees.
The winner will receive the benefits—fresh fruit water, premium coffee and private phone booths—of working in a WeWork office, which normally requires a membership fee that starts at $45 a month.
Winners will also receive mentorship sessions from Troy Carter, an entrepreneur and investor, and this year’s Privilège Award recipient from Hennessy.
Thanks to Crain’s New York Business for alerting NYC on the Cheap to this great deal.
