23rd Annual Upper Broadway Fall Festival – On Broadway between 110th and 116th Streets
Times Square Autumn Carnival – Street fair with a theatrical theme, on Broadway between 47th and 47th Streets.
Jefferson Market Garden Children’s Harvest Festival – 11am-2pm on Greenwich Avenue between Sixth Ave. and W. 10th St.
Free on Saturday/Sunday in New York City
American Crafts Festival at Lincoln Center – The good stuff. Not the usual street fair schlock. See this recent NYCOTC posting for full information.
Free on Sunday in New York City
Times Square Fall Fair – On 45th St. between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
Columbus Hispanic Day Parade – Marching up Fifth Avenue, from 44th to 70th Streets, beginning at noon.
Free on Monday in New York City –
Columbus Day Festival – Street fair on Broadway between Liberty St. and Battery Place.
Columbus Day Parade – Celebrate all things Italian, including the discovery of the New World. This is one of the largest annual parades in New York City, with 35,000 marchers including dozens of bands, contingents from the NYPD and NYFD, and around one million spectators. Marching up Fifth Avenue from 47th to 72nd Streets, starting at noon.
NYC weekend flea markets and food fairs:
Vendy Plaza: Dozens of food trucks are at the famous El Marqueta area at 125th St. and Park Avenue every Sunday through Nov. 1st. Details here.
Fulton Stall Market at the South Street Seaport: A new farmer’s market and more. The more includes FREE Saturday morning cartoons for the kids and cooking demonstrations for the grownups. Details here.
