On Halloween, Oct. 31, show up in costume and Chipotle will “treat” you to one of its notoriously large “boo-rito” bowls, salads or tacos for only $3. You’ll be eating for a good cause, since Chipotle is donating the proceeds from Boo-rito, up to $1,000,000 to The Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating a more sustainable and healthful food supply while raising awareness about revitalizing family farms, humane and sustainable animal husbandry, and nutrition education.
The bargain burrito for a good cause is available from 5 p.m. to closing, so there’s plenty of time to go trick-or-treating or get to a party.
Can we call this a three-fer? Cheap eats, Halloween treats, and charity fund-raiser. Works for me.
Why $3? The restaurant chain is highlighting the simplicity of its ingredients and showing that additives and preservatives are not necessary to make and serve good food at a good price.
