Feast of San Gennaro – The biggest street fair in NYC takes over Little Italy and parts of Chinatown in this annual event. See this recent NYCOTC posting for all the information.
Photoville at Brooklyn Bridge Park – More than just a photo exhibit in repurposed shipping containers, this is also an event with seminars by top photographers, performance art and more. Photoville website.
Today and tomorrow

Saturday in New York City
German American Steuben Day Parade – Welcome Oktoberfest with a parade of Oompah bands, lederhosen and dirndls on Fifth Ave.. See this NYCOTC posting for full details, including a list of famous German-Americans.
Kite Festival – Go fly a kite, learn to fly a kite, or just watch. Kites will be available for purchase if you don’t have your own. At Harbor View Lawn, Brooklyn Bridge Park, 11am to 3pm
Eddie Bauer Fitness Event – Eddie Bauer is teaming up with Men’s Fitness for free fitness classes, plus the chance to win prizes including a winter down jacket, gift cards and more. At the Fifth Avenue store only, Fifth Avenue at 15th St., 11am to 3pm. There are no reservations for the classes. It’s strictly space available.
Queens International Night Market – Eat your way around the world at this international street food extravaganza. Every Saturday through mid October. See this recent NYCOTC posting for all the details.
Sunday in New York City
92nd St. Y Street Fest 2015 – Performances by Broadway show stars, multi-cultural dance performances, kids’ games sponsored by American Girl and wellness screenings by Mount Sinai. Noon to 6pm on Lexington Ave. in front of the 92nd St. Y. More information here.
NYC weekend flea markets and food fairs:
Vendy Plaza: Dozens of food trucks are at the famous El Marqueta area at 125th St. and Park Avenue every Sunday through Nov. 1st. Details here.
