India Day Parade and Festival: The parade marches down Madison Avenue from 38th St. to 23rd St. starting at noon, and ends in a huge block party at 23rd St. India Parade and Festival website.

NYC weekend flea markets and food fairs:
Smorgasburg: The popular Brooklyn foodie festival is outdoors every weekend through fall, with more than 75 local vendors selling top quality sodas, gluten-free sodas, seafood and more.
