Get tickets now for the second annual Taste of Bushwick, featuring unlimited tastes and beverages from local restaurants, at a street fair for foodies that also supports local theater The Bushwick Starr, so you’ll be eating, drinking and socializing for charity. That’s a good deal.
Tickets are $35 through today, and $40 after today, including at the door, for the event next Tuesday, June 16th.
More than 30 local restaurants are participating, including Northeast Kingdom and Tortilleria Mexicana Los Hermanos, newcomers like Maite, and home-made pasta restaurant Faro.
Taste of Bushwick is 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Rock Street, a small sidestreet off Flushing Avenue that’s actually a private street owned by Boar’s Head, one of the few private streets left anywhere in New York City (just so you know – so is Rockefeller Plaza). So the food party is a pedestrian-only event. There’s also an afterparty 9pm to 11pm at Pine Box, with a live band.
Thanks to the Bushwick Daily for alerting NYC on the Cheap to this food and fund-raising event.
