Tuesday: Family Movie Night at Pride features a free screening of the animated classic “Finding Nemo”, at Pier 63 in Hudson River Park. Thursday: BAM R&B Festival features R&B singer/songwriter Al B crooning with his sensuous style including his “signature falsetto”. and “bedroom lyricism,” according to the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership. He’s best known for his collaborations with R&B, jazz and pop legends Diana Ross, Slick Rick, Jodeci, and Quincy Jones. Thursday: Recess Monkey celebrates the release of its 12th album with a free outdoor kids concert in Madison Square Park, at 11:30am. Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch.
