Join Native Americans from across the Americas in the annual Native American Pow Wow & Festival for two days of singing, dancing, drumming, crafts and more, at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, the weekend of June 6/7.
Events include dance competitions, including (I hope) my personal favorite, the Hoop Dance.
It’s rain or shine, so let’s hope for shine, and there’s limited seating, so bring your own. The Pow Wow is at the Aviator Sports Complex.
This is a ticketed event sponsored by the Red Hawk Council. Adults and teens are $12, seniors and students are $10, and there’s a family four-pack available online onle for $35. Get tickets here.

Next weekend is another Native American pow wow, Drums Along the Hudson in Northern Manhattan. We’ll have information about that next week.
