The new location features a special historic photo exhibit of the neighborhood, along with the regular Apple store features including all the latest Apple products to try out, Genuis Bar experts and more, FREE, of course.
Apple Store Upper East Side is at 940 Madison Avenue, at 74th Street, in the former US Mortgage and Trust Building, which opened for business in 1922. It’s also been a branch of Chase and an art gallery.
There’s a wonderful history of the Neo-Classical building on the website DaytonianinMahnattan, which tells the story behind historic NYC buildings like this one, including historic photos.
The new Apple Store Upper East Side will be open daily, Mon.-Sat., 9am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm.
