This is the “other” Shakespeare in the Park, where tickets are not required and there’s no line to get in. Shakespeare in Bryant Park is on weekends starting this Friday with The Two Gentlemen of Verona.
FREE, of course. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays, 6:30 – 8:30pm and on Sunday, 2-4pm., at the Upper Terrace, and chairs are provided so you don’t have to sit on the grass.
Bryant Park Shakespeare returns for 2015 with three productions presented by The Drilling Company.
- May 15 – 31: The Two Gentlemen of Verona
- July 17 – August 2: Romeo and Juliet
- September 4 – 20: The Taming of the Shrew
All are free and open to the public. Performances occur on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 – 8:30p.m. and Sundays from 2:00 – 4:00p.m.
