The NY International Auto Show opens to the public tomorrow for ten days, with more than 60 cars and trucks making their world debut or North American debut, including from Porsche, Jaguar, Cadillac, Lincoln, Kia, Mercedes and Mazda.
Go kick the tires of these new models:
Chevrolet Malibu: The completely redesigned family-friendly 2016 Chevy Malibu makes its world debut, along with an all-new Malibu Hubrid.
Jaguar F-PACE: Vroom. Gorgeous newest addition to the Jaguar line-up, along with the all-new Jaguar XE sport sedan. Plus, Jaguar is offering diesel options for the first time in North America.
Porsche Boxter Spyder: Vroom, too. Also gorgeous new addition to the Porsche line-up. For the purist.
Mazda Miata: The 2016 MX-5 is approximately 150 lbs. lighter than its predecessor through use of lightweight materials, with a 2.0 litter SKYACTIV engine,rated at 155 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. A special limited edition Club Edition is being shown, too.
Aston Martin Vulcan: This is a track only supercar producing some 800-plus bhp, powered by a huge 7.0L V12 engine developed in conjunction with Aston Martin Racing. This front mid-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car draws extensively on the brand’s rich GT motorsport experience.
Cadillac CT6: This brand-new large-size sedan makes its world debut at the NY International Auto Show. The 2016 Cadillac CT6 is a performance sedan with GM’s acclaimed DOHC V-6 engine family that incorporates cylinder deactivation and stop/start technology to improve fuel economy. The CT6 is certified at 335 horsepower (250 kW) and 284 lb-ft of torque (385 Nm).
Nissan Maxima: The all-new 2016 Nissan Maxima features Nissan’s new design elements – including the V-motion front end and unique “floating” roof – that first appeared on the 2015 Nissan Murano crossover.
Toyota RAV4 Hybrid: The latest addition to Toyota’s growing hybrid family of fuel-efficient vehicles.
