It’s a sure sign of spring when farmers markets start popping up around town. The newest one is also the first one in Midtown, on Broadway between 35th and 36th Streets, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:30am to 6pm, from May first through some time in September.
It’s being called the French Market, because it’s styled like an open-air market in Paris or another one of your favorite French cities. In addition to local produce, organic goods and fresh-cut flowers, there will be ready-made items for lunch, or to take home for dinner.
Farms and other vendors have not been announced yet. The French Market is sponsored by the 34th Street Partnership.
