Start the new year with half-price theater tickets. Broadway Week 2015, the annual two-week opportunity to get BOGO tickets to nearly two dozen shows, is for performances between Jan. 20th and Feb. 5th.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 9, and tickets for the most popular shows sell out quickly. Last year BOGO tickets for Wicked, Aladdin, The Lion King, Kinky Boots, Matilda: The Musical and the Beautiful: Carole King Musical sold out quickly.
Once again this year, The Book of Mormon is not participating in the half-price promotion.
There are several ways to get two-for-one tickets: online or by phoning Ticketmaster or Telecharge, online directly from the show you want or by calling the theater box office, or through the taxpayer-funded NYC convention and visitors board, now called NYCGO.
NYCOTC ticket affiliate Goldstar offers tickets half off or more year-round for Broadway and Off Broadway shows, and sporting events.
Broadway Week is sponsored by The Broadway League, The New York Times, American Express, Amtrak, WNBC and NYCGO.
