The first annual New York Festival of Light illuminates Dumbo with a FREE curated collection of lighting and art installations created by local and international lighting designers, plus performance artists who work within the medium of light. The light show is tomorrow through Saturday, in the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge, at the Pearl Street Triangle at (Pearl and Water Streets.
Hours are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The NYFOL is a non-profit art group which creates and provides unique and artistic projected lighting installations that spotlight local architecture, such as the area known as Dumbo. The installations are both static and moving.
The New York Festival of Light also has a Kickstarter campaign to help produce another free show next year.
