Take the kids to Bryant Park on Saturday for a FREE festival that celebrates books of all kinds, including comic books. It’s called Comic Con for Kids, with special giveaways and a visit by Tania del Rio, author of the hilarious new book, Diary of a Girl Next Door: Betty.
The event is at the Bryant Park Reading Room park patio, and is produced in partnership with Penguin Random House and Archie Comics,
Comic Con is Noon to 1 PM. Immediately afterward, head over to the Victorian Le Carrousel Kids, as Flaubert Frog presents Free to Be…Frog and Me. The show includes songs and stories from the children’s classic Free to Be…You and Me. The show is 1 PM to 2 PM. from 1:00-2:00pm.
Stick around for carousel rides. Rides are only $3, and a Discount Card gets you 10 rides for $15.
