The annual Mostly Mozart festival at Lincoln Center begins tonight, with a FREE preview show. Tickets are being handed out starting at 10 AM for the concert that begins at 7:30 PM. After tonight, tickets are as much as $150, so it’s definitely worth getting to Philharmonic Hall this morning for the free tickets and returning this evening.
Tonight’s program features Mozart: Overture to Don Giovanni, Gluck: Final scene from Don Juan and Berlioz: Symphonie fantastique, with the Mostly Mozart Symphony Orchestra. Mostly Mozart website.
