Shake Shack is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with special gourmet burgers created by top NYC chefs. The birthday burgers are only at the original Shake Shack location in Madison Square Park, with a different burger featured for five days next week, Monday, June 9th through Friday, June 13th. Wash down the birthday burgers with a special IPA created just for the Shake Shack birthday by Brooklyn Brewery, served in a commemorative birthday cup.
There will be just 1,000 of the special $8.50 burgers available each day, and Shake Shack will donate $1.00 from each burger sold to the Madison Square Park Conservancy and NYC Parks.
On Thursday, June 12th – Shake Shack’s actual anniversary – there will be a hot dog cart with a pay-what-you-wish policy, with all proceeds donated to the Conservancy, and FREE birthday cake baked by the cronut guy, Dominique Ansel, on Thursday, June 12th, the Shake Shack’s actual anniversary, plus live music.
The line-up of world-class chefs includes Daniel Boulud (Chef/Owner, DANIEL, Café Boulud, db bistro, Bar Boulud, Boulud Sud, DBGB, and more), David Chang (Chef/Owner, Momofuku), Andrew Zimmern (Chef/Co-Owner, Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen, and Host of Bizarre Foods America on Travel Channel), Daniel Humm (Chef/Owner, Eleven Madison Park and The Nomad), and April Bloomfield (Chef/Co-Owner, The Spotted Pig, The Breslin, The John Dory Oyster Bar, Salvation Taco, and Tosca Cafe).
