The River to River Festival returns to the South Street Seaport this weekend for a FREE three day block party of family-friendly fun including concerts, games, and more. This year, the festival celebrates Latin and Caribbean culture and music.
From an accordion fronted Tex-Mex punk-band to socially conscious Haitian songs and from ambient folk and electronica to the New York debut of the king of Colombian vallenato and cumbia, this Caribbean and Latin America festival travels the crossroads, the blurs and the beats of traditional and contemporary sounds from around the world and around the corner.
On Friday, events start at 4PM, on Saturday they start at 5:30PM, and on Sunday, at 1:30PM, with a special outdoor dance party from 6-8PM with DJs Nickodemus and Mariano, who return to where Turntables on the Hudson all started at The South Street Seaport
Keep up with free NYC outdoor concerts, dancing and street parties all summer long on the NYCOTC Summer Calendar page.
