Free outdoor concert. Harlem Chamber Players perform Bach, arranged for three clarinets and double bass, at Goddard Riverside Community Center, 593 Columbus Avenue, between 88th and 89th Streets, at 6PM. Rain date is Monday, June 30th.
Tomorrow, Saturday, June 28
Free kayaking on the East River. Get out on the water for a picture postcard view of the city skyline. The free kayaking is at the calm waters of Stuyvesant Cove Park, East 20th and 23rd St., where you’ll get a quick lesson and a life vest before paddling. 2:30PM to 6:30PM. Sponsor is Long Island City Community Boathouse, which is doing the event again on July 27 and August 10.
Sunday, June 29
Theatre District Summer Fair. Street fair with a Broadway show flair and tastings from some of the restaurants along Restaurant Row. 10AM to 5PM. 46th St., between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.
