Uniformed members of the US Armed Forces can get FREE coffee at more than 50 airports through midnight on Independence Day, July 4, 2014. The free coffee offer is at Euro Cafe, Dunkin’ Donuts and Alki Bakery locations, which are operated by Hudson Group.
Signs and banners at participating cafes in airports and transit terminals across the country will invite service men and women to order a cup of “joe” on the house. The free coffee offer is the idea of Hudson Group President and CEO Joe DiDomizio, who appeared on a top-rated segment of the CBS-TV show Undercover Boss, and made the promise during a scene with a barista.
FYI – Hudson Group is one of the world’s largest retailers, at airports and other transportation terminals in the US and Canada, where it operates more than 700 Hudson, Hudson News, Hudson Booksellers, cafes, specialty retail and duty free shops. It’s the North American arm of international duty-free travel retailer Dufry AG of Basel, Switzerland, which operates more than 1,400 stores in 47 countries and 180 airports and transportation terminals.
