Bang on a Can All-Stars – Take the kids to Carnegie Hall for this special Family Concert event on Saturday, Feb. 1. Tickets are $12 for a dynamic performance the entire family will enjoy. Pre-concert activities start at noon. Website
Super Bowl Boulevard – Everything is FREE, including photos with NFL stars, concerts and play zones for the kids. The only exception is the 60-foot Tobaggon Ride, and that’s just $5. Broadway, 34th to 47th Streets, noon to 10 p.m. daily. Full details on the NYCOTC Super Bowl Fan Page
Black History Month Celebration – FREE performances of urban music and dance, and a film screening, at the Brooklyn Museum on Saturday. Tickets are required for some programs to guarantee seating. Brooklyn Museum website.
New York Transit Museum Holiday Train Show at Grand Central, Centennial Edition – Miniature – not toy – trains – toot around the tracks at this popular annual exhibit, open through next week. Full details here in a recent NYCOTC posting.
