Twas the night before Christmas. We all know those famous first words of A Visit from St. Nicholas, the poem written by New Yorker Clement Clarke Moore. Join fans of this timeless favorite for a FREE recitation of the poem and a reception following the reading, on Sunday, December 21st, at Church of the Intercession, Broadway and 155th St.
Why there? Because Moore and his family are buried across the street, in Trinity Cemetery.
The annual event begins at 3:30pm with a musical prelude, followed by a service with music at 4pm, followed by a procession to the gravesite and a ceremony.
