Tuesday, Dec. 10th – Celebrate the holidays with the Madison Square Park Conservancy at the Mad. Sq. Holiday tree lighting ceremony. Festivities start at 3:30pm at the northern end of the park with free activities including family crafts projects.
Wednesday, Dec. 11 – The Washington Square Annual Tree Lighting is 5-6 p.m. at the Washington Square Arch. Santa Claus has promised to appear and lead the children in the illumination countdown. There will be caroling by the Rob Susman Brass Quartet.
Wednesday, Dec. 11 – Holiday on the Hudson is what the tree lighting party is being called at Hudson Piers, 6-7 p.m. with live music, holiday decorating making and more. Hudson Piers is at 125th St.
Thursday, Dec. 12 – The Jackie Robinson Conservancy hosts the 16th Annual Lights of Hope Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring a jazzy Motown celebration with Ronald Jackson and Friends. The event is 4-6 p.m. at Jacky Robinson Park, at 145th St. and Bradhurst Avenue, one block east of St. Nicholas Ave.
