Enjoy a FREE grand tour de France of Bryant Park this weekend, at a special Taste of France celebration of French food, wine and culture. This is your chance to visit France in a NYC park that’s often compared to to Paris’ Luxembourg Gardens.
This year’s Taste of France lifestyle extravaganza fills Bryant Park with cooking demonstrations, literary events, a chance to sample the world’s most famous cuisine, wine tastings and seminars, French music, and tourism representatives from various reasons.France’s varied regions. Other attractions include a butter sculptor creating a big surprise, a huge outdoor Sunday picnic, and a French bulldog show.
For kids, there will be an exciting Ratatouille-themed treasure hunt, French language lessons, ballet lessons, and an art competition.
Taste of France is Saturday, September 28, 11:00am-11:00pm; and Sunday, September 29, 11:00am-7:00pm.
Many of the attractions and events are free, and there will be plenty of items for sale as well. Note – Throughout the event, the only currency you can use for food purchases, raffles or ticketed special events will be ‘Mariannes.’ Purchase those in advance at the Taste of France website.
