Oh, we need a little Christmas, right this very minute, and the Radio City Rockettes are happy to oblige, with a free preview of the annual Radio City Christmas Show on Tuesday, August 13. Oh, yes, the Rockettes are bringing Santa Claus, too. “Christmas in August” is the official kick-off to the 2013 holiday season in New York and the world-famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular production.
It’s all happening at 11 a.m. at Radio City Music Hall, with a summer snow storm that celebrates the production’s new “Snow” scene. The Rockettes and Santa Claus also unveil a special holiday themed ice sculpture under the Radio City marquee.
Then, The Rockettes are traveling around NYC on a Gray Line New York red double decker bus, making stops including Radio City Music Hall, Bryant Park, Madison Square Park, the Beacon Theatre and Union Square in Manhattan, and Park Slope in Brooklyn.
Performances of the 2013 Radio City Christmas Spectacular begin November 8, 2013 and run through December 30, 2013 at Radio City Music Hall. Prices range from $39 – $225, depending on show date and time.
