American Crafts Festival, Lincoln Center – This is the annual show of really good arts and crafts by professional artisans, not the schlocky stuff that dominates most street fairs. The show is sponsored by the American Concern for Art and Craftsmanship, and it’s in two locations within Lincoln Center – in Damrosch Park, at 62nd St. between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues, and Hearrst Plaza, 64th Street and Columbus. The crafts fair is both Saturday and Sunday, Saturday noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Event website
Brazilian music concert and film screening in Central Park – The wrap-up of the 11th Annual Brazilian Film Festival is a concert by pop star Preta Gil and a showing of the animated film, “Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury.” 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, Rumsey Field. Event website
NYC Kidsfest, Morningside Park, Upper West Side – Third annual celebration of arts and crafts, puppetry, storytelling and more, including a conga workshop. Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Brooklyn Family Day, Herbert Von King Park, Bedford-Stuyvesant – A day of Soul music and Afro-Caribbean music performances, dance, storytelling, fun fitness activities, face painting, carnival arts workshops and more. 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Event website
