Harlem Resonance is a month-long festival of music, dance, vintage films and poetry readings celebrating the past, present and future of one of NYC’s most iconic neighborhoods. Most events are at Symphony Space on the UWS, including performances by the Dance Theater of Harlem and film screenings such as Stormy Weather, which launched the career of Lena Horne, plus many FREE events. There’s also a jazz festival at City College, walking tours of musical Harlem, literary Harlem, and more.
