It’s called UrbanSpace Meatpacking. It’s an outdoor marketplace of more than 60 local New York City food and clothing companies, under the High Line, at Washington and 13th Streets. The marketplace is scheduled to open tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 1st, and be open seven days a week through fall.
Food vendors include Momofuko Milk Bar, Asia Dog, Steve’s Ice Cream, Roberta’s Pizza, Red Hook Lobster Pound and Mexicue, along with The Mixology Garden, a high-end juice bar serving fruit and vegetable juices, infusions, and smoothies. Fashion retailers include NFP Studio, Kira Kira Jewelry, Bellero Design and Humble Chic.
UrbanSpace is operated by the same people who created the award winning DeKalb Market in Brooklyn and Camden Lock in London, who also operate the holiday gift markets in Union Square and Columbus Circle.
