Get healthy at the 7th Annual Summer Health Fair on Saturday, June 23rd, on the Upper West Side, with FREE medical screenings for diabetes, bone marrow, heart disease, high blood pressure, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, and cancer. The health fair is sponsored by Cathedral Community Cares in partnership with St. Luke’s Hospital. This is a family-friendly event, with face painting and healthy activities for the kids, information from health care and other health-related service providers, plus entertainment, giveaways and more. Medical expert will be on hand to answer questions about diabetes, heart disease, accessing health and insurance benefits, and more. And it’s all free. There are no reservations for the medical screenings. The health fair is 11 AM to 3PM, at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 111th Street and Amsterdam Ave. Closest Subway stop is the #1 to 110th and Broadway.
