Celebrate the re-opening of the Randall’s Island footbridge on Saturday, June 2nd, with a festival on the Manhattan side, at 103rd St. and the East River. We can’t call it a street fair, because it’s a bridge fair, for the only footbridge across the East River. The footbridge is free, and so is the fair. Here’s some of what’s on the sked — children’s dance instruction, children’s tennis and soccer lessons, an interactive art project, and a performance by Mariachi Academy of New York. It’s from 10 a.m. to noon. The event also is the opening for the Go With The Flow environmental art exhibit on Randall’s Island.
