In conjunction with the Tribeca Film Festival, the Apple Stores in Soho and on 14th Street have a series of FREE workshops and events with film makers April 20-28. Here’s the schedule for Friday, April 20th at the Apple 14th Street store–
- 7 p.m. — actor Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep) and director Brad Hall (SNL) discuss their short film, Picture Paris, about a suburban mom’s plans for a life-changing trip to Paris soon after her son leaves for college. When her plans go hilariously awry, she finds herself wondering if she’ll ever have what she really desires: love, passion, revenge…and Paris.
- 8 p.m. — director Lynn Shelton (Humpday) discusses her new film, Your Sister’s Sister. The story is about sibling rivalry, a death in the family, and surprising revelations, and stars Emily Blunt,Mark Duplass and Rosemarie DeWitt.
There are no reservations, so get there at least 15 minutes ahead for a seat.
