The Apple Retail Store in Lincoln Center is presenting a special FREE workshop on apps for teaching special needs children, including autistic children, on Tuesday, April 24th. The program focuses on the iPad, and is being taught by Adam Goldberg, the senior music teacher at P.S. 177 in Queens. The free lecture/workshop is for caregivers to learn about using music and music programs and apps to empower autistic children and others with learning disabilities, to communicate more easily using Apple devices including iPad and iPhone. The program is at 7 p.m. at the Apple Store Upper West Side, Broadway at 67th St. There are no reservations, so get there by 6:45 to ensure a seat.
