You don’t need to buy an airline ticket to the Caribbean to be dancing under the stars, because you can do it here in NYC, at the Rose Center for Science and Earth, which includes the Hayden Planetarium. The evening of music and dance — and stars — is called One Step Beyond. Dance to the DJs spinning techno, electronica, hip-hop, and indie rock, and also enjoy a showing of a spectacular four-minute trip from Earth to the edge of the universe, and back, narrated by acclaimed actor Liam Neeson. It’s all happening on Friday, February 17th, from 9 PM to 1 AM, for $25 per person. Each ticket also includes one pass to the American Museum of Natural History, which includes the Rose Center and the Hayden Planetarium, for future use. Click here to purchase tickets or by calling 212-769-5200, Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm. You must be 21 to participate, and have the ID to prove it.
