You can now buy a 2012 Nissan Leaf plug-in all-electric car for delivery in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Nissan already has delivered more than 7,000 Leaf vehicles in its first markets, California and Tennessee, where Nissan USA is headquartered, and where Nissan is building a new factory to produce the high tech lithium-ion batteries that power the Leaf EV.
