This is a special kind of R&R — because it could include romance. The Museum of the City of New York is launching a weekly program of live music, dancing and cocktails on the spacious terrace overlooking Central Park. The program begins this Wednesday, and continues every Wednesday, August 31st. There’s a different performer, duo, trio or quartet each week, all representing the sounds of New York City, including Latin jazz, classic rock, even funk. Click here for the full schedule of dancing under the stars at the Museum of the City of New York, every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for museum members, $15 for non-members, and includes one free beverage plus entrance to the museum’s exhibitions. So I’m considering this a FREE deal — pay for museum admission and get the dancing to live music free, or the other way around. The Museum of the City of New York is at Fifth Avenue and 103rd St.
