Party like it’s 1989 today as Paul’s da Burger Joint celebrates its 25th anniversary with burgers at 1989 prices, live music and free samples of finger foods like fries. The popular and old-fashioned 50s style burger and brew hang-out on the Lower East Side is rated regularly as serving up some of the best burgers in NYC at some of the best prices in town, with burger prices starting at $5.50.
Paul’s also is using the anniversary party to introduce some new menu items.
The 1989 menu and prices is noon to closing, today only. The music is 1-3 PM. Paul’s da Burger Joint is at 131 Second Avenue at St. Mark’s Place.
Happy anniversary, Paul’s, and make mine medium rare.
About Paul’s Da Burger Joint:
When it opened in 1989 by Paul, it was called Paul’s Palace, and St. Mark’s Place was a gritty neighborhood. It has always served what Paul describes as “honest food” for reasonable prices. The menu is primarily burgers, but there are also entrees and a breakfast menu. It’s still largely a 50’s style diner with checkered table cloths and vintage decor.
