The 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief in New York City was the greatest gathering of rock musicians in history. Starting today, you can download the four-plus hours of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Who, Alicia Keys, Eddie Vetter, Kanye West and others, for $12.99 on iTunes. Individual artists also can be downloaded if you don’t want everybody and everything.
As with the concert itself, all proceeds are being donated to the Robin Hood Foundation, for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. The album — and individual cuts by individual artists and bands — will be available on Tuesday, December 18th, but you can pre-order now and avoid what’s sure to be a long online wait to click through on Tuesday.
