It’s the last two nights of free movies in Central Park. The theme of this year’s The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival is Big Apple icons — films that feature New York City as one os its stars. The movies are being shown in the area just north of Sheep Meadow, behind Mineral Springs, at mid-park and 69th Street. So enter the park at 72nd St from either Fifth Avenue or Central Park West. All screenings begin at 8:00 pm, rain or shine. Gates open at 6:30 pm, so bring a picnic. Guest DJs play sets until the movie begins. All movies close captioned.
