Celebrate Black History Month at the American Museum of Natural History on Saturday, February 18th, with Global Weekends: The African-American Musical Mosaic. This celebration of African-inspired song and rhythms is inspired by gospel, jazz, R&B and hip hop. Performers include singer/actress Sandra Reaves-Phillips, classical musicians The Harlem Quartet, indie and blues singer-songwriter Charles Mack, and special guest Daryl “DMC” McDaniels of the hip-hop group Run DMC.
