Many restaurants offer freebies on your birthday, from free appetizers to free desserts, even free drinks.

Let’s start with a local NYC restaurant with a great birthday freebie deal –

Village Pourhouse, 366 West 46th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, offers free drinks all night on your birthday. The free drink deal is good for one week after your birthday. But you can’t just show up — you have to make a reservation, and it probably won’t be accepted for busy pre-theater times, especially weekends.

National restaurant chains usually require you to sign up for their birthday club, but that’s free, too. And, many also will send you additional coupons and deals throughout the year for signing up to their birthday club program.

Be sure to bring your driver’s license or other i.d. with you when you claim your birthday freebies.
