The rare sample sale/clearance sale of Under Armour performance wear has been postponed because of Hurricane Sandy. Instead of starting today, Wednesday, Oct. 31, the sale starts tomorrow, November 1, through Sunday, November 4. Prices are up to 80% off original reatail, at 260SampleSale, the huge storefront at 260 Fifth Avenue that has become a favorite spot for designer sample sales and clearance sales. Hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 10am to 4 pm. 260SampleSale accepts cash and credit cards, and all sales final. Expect to check your purse at the entrance, so wear something with pockets for your valuables.
