Reminder that the annual Oktoberfest celebration at the bar and beerhall Zum Schneider ends this Sunday, October 14th. There’s live music Saturdays through Tuesdays, special Oktoberfest beers and a menu that includes giant pretzels and traditional heart-shaped spiced cookies, called lebkuchen. There’s no admission fee to enjoy the festival atmosphere, and music by Oompah band Mös’l Franzi & the Ja Ja Ja’s. Bavarian owner Sylvester Schneider founded this band. Doors open at 1pm on the weekends and 5pm on weekdays. Prosit!
