NYC free and cheap weekend eventsThere are plenty of FREE and cheap things to do this weekend in NYC that have nothing to do with Halloween. Here are a few –

Lexington Avenue Fall Festival — Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm, on Lex, between 42nd and 57th Streets

Lower East Side Pickle Day — get your sour on Sunday, on Orchard St., between Delancey and East Houston.  Everything from old-fashioned sours to kimchi and chutney will be featured. Noon to 5 pm.

Dutch Kills Street Fair — Sunday, noon to 6 pm, on 36th Avenue in Astoria, between 29th and 35th Streets

Sons of Italy Street Fair — Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm, on Liberty Street, between Broadway and Church Street

Kumori Kagura Traditional Japanese Music and Dance — Sunday, 11 am at the Japan Society, 333 East 47th St.  Family friendly event showcasing the music and dance of Northern Japan, kids learn how to make traditional Japanese masks.  Tickets are $12.

Have fun and be cheap in New York City.
