Big banks do have a heart — JP Morgan Chase is waiving late fees and other fees to customers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut affected by Hurricane Sandy, through Thursday, November 1st. You’ll have until the end of the day Thursday to make a deposit or a payment to bring your account current and avoid the fees. The fee waiver includes –
º Overdraft protection transfer, extended overdraft, returned item and insufficient funds fees for deposit accounts.
º Late fees on credit cards, business and consumer loans, including mortgages, home-equity, auto and student loans.
