— a documentary on David Lynch, whose iconic works of film include Eraserhead, plus photography, music, and painting, much of it influenced by a devout following of mediation. A set of film-makers. They followed Lynch on a 16-country tour throughout Europe, Israel, and Brazil, documenting a series of his lectures at top international film schools along with revealing, one-on-one media interviews on Lynch’s art, c \reative processes, and Transcendental Meditation. The footage has been compiled into this extraordinary 71-minute film, “Meditation, Creativity, Peace.” The  screening is  Thursday, October 18, at Sunshine Landmark Cinema, 143 East Houston Street. A special Q&A session featuring Rock-and-Roll-Hall-of-Fame legend Donovan  , who appears in the film, follows the screening. Get frre tickets online here. From 1966 through 1969, Dr. Donovan Leitch scored a string of eleven Top 40 hits in a row, including Mellow Yellow, SunshineSuperman, Epistle To Dippy, There Is A Mountain, Wear Your Love Like Heaven, Hurdy Gurdy Man, Jennifer Juniper, Lalena,Atlantis, and Riki Tiki Tavi. During his career Donovan has played with folk music greats Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, and Bob Dylan,
as well as rock musicians Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck.
